"In the house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming"
Well i have always loved the writings of Lovecraft, since i was young I have taken interest in the Necronomicon mythos and this have been with me since then, i have tried to illustrate some creatures or beings from Lovecrafts facinating world before, but i think this one takes the price to present day.
I have been working like a madman on thisone, at a time range of 2-3 weeks i've been doting the living life out off me, making good use for my new expensive inkpen (darn thing cost me about 30 bucks) but now i realise it was worth every penny.
Love this technique as well, it fits my half insane brain perfectly, first dotting a couple of hours, taking a smoke and after that nitting for a hour or two, then back to the dotting
I hope you appriciate the level of details i have put into this piece as well hehe
I would love comments from people that is good at stipperling cause this is my first try at this technique
Yes, you're a madman. You just have to be insane to do all those details and shading using only dots ; ). But thanks to this technique whole picture looks like a bas-relief or at least something ancient. Yeah, it's a really fantastic piece of work : ).

This is absolutely stunning, my friend! I admire your patience and eye for accurate intricacy. How on earth did you manage to finish this piece without slipping into a haze of insanity? The setting is quite amazing and this technique adds a certain depth and stylized texture to the work. Scary pointillism... just when I thought I saw everything... Anyway, let me congratulate you on being such a wonderful artist!
Pure, undeniable genius. There is no other way to put it. I see a HUGE amount of passion, considerable thought and an insane amount of work. When I first saw this drawing, I was awestruck. I was powerless and all I could do was sit and stare. I'm even kinda jealous pal. Very nice work, you should take a big bow.
For your firts time working with this technique is absolutelly great. Maybe just needs darker areas, but is a very good job what so ever.
I love to work with this technique too and I have to ask: how's you hand? is it numbed?
I hope you'll make more like this

Damn man, I would say you're great with this technique. A wonderful image, and great details. The vains on his head for example are really great with this technique. Wonderful anathomy.
I have only one tip I can give you: create more dark areas in your next drawing like this, but only on the right places. This gives the drawing more depth.
Such detail and awesome technique used here; this is an amazing piece! And you're right, that pen was worth every penny! ^_^ I love the markings in the wall and wrinkled textures of the figures head! Keep it up man!
Wow what a shoggoth's undertaking!!! But it sure works...
Keep going with this technique.
I'd love to see more of your Lovecraftian creations...
I'm a fan too.
Quite the detail and tone with the stippling technique! Very much a splotch test in an evil sort of demented way. Lovecraftian influence again takes the prize
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
