Ereshkigal

First of all, this painting were a bugger to scan, the colors are all out the window, and after this was done Photoshop had a play of wierd anormalities going on with a lot of blinkin lights at the top, it just don't want to take the color information to the right, when I was going to convert it to webimage the jpg just couldn't handle the image at all, so I had to save it png instead. Wierd things is going on with this one I'd say hehe.

Anyway, I've been bustin' my ass a long time to finish this, first I made a ballpoint version of the scene, then I fixed it up digitaly and lastly I just made it in me acrylic inks instead!
I think I did the ballpoint version for well half a year ago. So heres the finished result of lotz of work I'd tell ye!

Ereshkigal as an entity has a soft point in me heart. She's the sumerian goddess of the underworld with all that it implies. Some say that she's the forerunner to Lilith among others.

In writings about her that dates a heck of along time before mr. christ she is obviously connected with zombies, heres a taste of just that:
