Terror Production Font by Fagertveit Terror Production Font by Fagertveit
This font were done for a T-Shirt design that i did with a friend, my first homemade font to date...

Hope you like it!

Added a Read Me textfile so that I gets some mumbojumbo if you use this font for print, heres whats in the readme:

=========================
= "Terror Production" =
= by =
= Glenn Fagertveit =
=========================

This font is a giftware font. The way this works is that you can use the font how much you wish for personal use, but if you use it in print or some kind of production you must send the author a free copy of whatever the font is used on.

Adress info can be gained by sending the author a mail at the adress: glenn@fagertveit.com

If printing of the font occurs without a gift right after, scary demons from the abyss will haunt the printer for all eternity, a chainsaw will be present here as well :P

Hey, I'm kinda sorta working on a fan-comic and I would like to use your font for the cover. Is that okay? Do I just credit you, or do I have to do the giftware thing? Please let me know, your font rocks! :D

hehe nah, you don't have to do the giftware thing! Awesome that you at least read the readme file! That'll take you a long way for sure! Would be cool to see the cover online when it's done though! Always a blast to see the Terror font around! :) Cheers!

Oh, okay. Well I try to read everything related to stock/fonts as far as usage goes, because I know I certainly wouldn't want people to go stealing my stuff without permission ^^;

And cool thanks, I'll let you know when I post :)

I absolutely love what you've done on the title (with the black outline and the blurry white) what did you do to get that effect? A special brush?

Fantastic font, by the way♥

It's just an easy Photoshop layer effect, I made the font in the red color, then I put a Glow effect and a 1px wide black stroke to it! :) Glad you likes the font!

That's really cool man! Looks very professional. With what program did you actually turn it into a font? I've been looking for a program that is easy in use but I haven't found it yet.

Well, first of all I drawed up all the letters on a A3 paper, and scanned them, after that I cleaned up them pretty hi-res in Photoshop, each letter individually and at last I imported them into High Logics Fontcreator: [link] Which transformed the graphic to vector (used the same application to make the vectorprint for the t-shirt as well, haven't found a better vector importer before so...)
Quite a elongated procedure it was, but I'm happy with having done a font completely from scratch! :D

Hmm damn, I drew two sheets of two fonts before, but I had trouble changing it into a font with this particular program. Actually I wouldn't want to try an other program either. I will have to find someone else to change it into a font for me, because I really don't feel like getting through that long procedure!

Hi There! :wave:
You have just earned yourself an O.D.D. feature :winner: ! congrats! :clap:
Todays' theme was "Mixed Gems Volume 3!"
ODDS (oibyrd's daily deviations) are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure (and ALSO, to show off people who I think are undeniably talented in their own genre of art, REGARDLESS of their #'s of fav's or pageviews. I like what I like and sometimes artwork isn't featured in the regular DDs because it's popular all on it's own It's a shame, but the admins are only trying to be fair! ). Please click the link below to see your work featured and to view other featured artists . If you prefer not to be a featured artist, just send me a note and I will remove you from the list. Cheers! xoxo Sandi oxo

That sounds wierd, I have tryed myself on other computers, and other people have made it work, so try install it again, did you download it directly to your font map? that can be the problem, try copy it to your desctop and then back again to your font directory, then you should see a installation message...

Be sure to send me a link to that flash when its done =) would be cool to see my font in action!!!

can it be because it's a truetype font? maybe if you pre-render it in another app?

Yeah, it sure were, i started doing all the letters on paper, pretty bigsize, then scanned it in, cleaned up the lines so that it could be exported as a pretty hi-res vector gfx, pretty fun to to have done a font from the scratch =)

i always find it easier to draw it up traditionally first. all my stuff was from pencil and ink drawings and then scanned in. to difficult to draw with a mouse :D

i love traditional but have been on the kick lately of coloring my stuff in photoshop. its because i like my b/w drawings so much that i dont want to color the originals. that and if i ever do decide to go back and color them i will have the color scheme i want :D

Yeah, thats a great thing about digital stuff, the coloring part, and photoshop got the Pantone colorshemes so it's easy picking out pure colors that works nice for printing and stuff, and it is nice to keep the b&w originals, testing out different color combinations on the computer before you go down and do the real thing, thats what you can call CAD hehehe

hehe yeah, it's hard when you have done something for the last 20 hours or so and then you hit it with the wrong color right away, feels some like suicide or something like that, artistic suicide anyway hehe, I was a little bit worried while starting coloring Chatterer if it really worked out using that blue background, but it fittet pretty well in the end so i was lucky that time...
